NAHNS Convention

47th Annual Convention - St. Paul / Minneapolis

The Archdiocesan Association of the Holy Name Society (AAHNS) of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis is hosting the 47th Annual National Holy Name Society Convention, Wednesday, September 20th through Sunday, September 24th .

This years Convention is being held in beautiful downtown Minneapolis at the Church of St. Olaf. The registration fee is $250 per delegate. Registration fee includes Friday Evening Presidential Reception, Saturday Tour, Saturday Presidential Banquet and all Convention Packet materials.

A Pilgrimage will be the highlight of the Convention. The Cathedral of St Paul was designated in 2009 as the National Shrine of the Apostle Paul, and is a privileged place of pilgrimage in the United States. In 2012, the Vatican established a "bond of spiritual affinity" between the Basilica of Saint Paul outside Rome and the Cathedral in St Paul. All who make this pilgrimage will enjoy all the spiritual benefits as if we were able to pray at the tomb of the Apostle Paul in Rome.

The Friday Presidential Reception and dinner will be held on a boat cruise! Most Reverend Bernard Hebda, Archbishop of the Diocese of St Paul-Minneapolis will be celebrating the Mass on Saturday at the Cathedral, and will join us as our guest speaker at the Saturday night banquet. More details to come. We look forward to seeing you there!

Advanced Registration is requested: Please register early for the best rate. The registration cost is $250 per person if received before August 7th. Registration cost is $300 if received after August 7th. All registrations must be received before September 10, 2017.
