The Holy Name Society promotes reverence and devotion for the Holy Names of God and Jesus and the personal sanctification and holiness of its members. Members work in union to build the kingdom of God by teaching, spreading, and defending the Catholic faith.

Description

The Holy Name Society promotes reverence and devotion for the Holy Names of God and Jesus and the personal sanctification and holiness of its members. Members offer prayers, devotions and perform works of mercy in union with other members locally and nationally for the reparation of offenses to the Holy Name of Jesus. Members share in the graces from special masses offered daily in honor of the Holy Name of Jesus. These blessings strengthen members to become active in ministries including respect for life, prison apostolate, purity and chastity, and other works of mercy.
